1. Retention schedule
- Account and profile data - Retained for the life of your account plus a 30-day processing window after a deletion request is received.
- Session transcripts - Retained for 90 days from the session end date, or until your account is deleted, whichever comes first.
- Session audio - Not persistently stored. Audio is processed in real-time by the LiveKit voice infrastructure and is not retained by Visaprep Agent after the session ends.
- Uploaded documents - Retained until you remove them from your account, or until your account is deleted.
- Billing and payment records - Retained for 7 years from the transaction date to satisfy financial record-keeping obligations.
- Server logs (AWS CloudWatch) - Retained for up to 90 days on a rolling basis.
- Analytics - We retain only aggregated operational metrics. No user-level analytics data is retained.
2. Retention principles
- We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, account administration, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and product operations.
- Retention periods may vary by data type, account status, product feature, legal duty, and whether a deletion request has been submitted.
- Users can request access, correction, or deletion through support channels, subject to applicable law and required retention obligations.
